A leading loan origination systems provider serving small and mid-sized banks was preparing for a major industry-facing demo, with participation expected from over 250 banks. The initiative was originally planned as a design-led demonstration using Figma prototypes.
As the demo gained strategic importance, requirements shifted toward delivering a fully functional application that could credibly represent the future direction of the platform. The delivery window was limited to 20 to 30 working days, leaving minimal room for iteration. Beyond visual polish, the demo needed to be stable, responsive, and capable of evolving into a long-term platform foundation rather than remaining a one-time showcase.
Technology Solution
The engagement was approached as a platform foundation build rather than a short-lived demo. Existing UI components built in React were rebuilt using the latest Angular framework to align with the target front-end architecture.
The solution focused on:
- Developing a reusable UI toolkit to standardize design patterns and accelerate future delivery
- Implementing a microfrontend-based front-end architecture to support modular development and extensibility
- Running design and development in parallel, enabling rapid conversion of Figma designs into working application flows
Daily demos were conducted to review progress, incorporate feedback, and maintain alignment throughout the compressed delivery timeline.
